Kaiserpanorama
The Painted House on Charles Square houses a unique exhibition of Kaiserpanorama, the forerunner of the cinema.
Kaiserpanorama is a historical stereoscope - an optical device for plastic and perspective vision of flat photographs. It was used for mass demonstration of stereoscopic photographs already at the beginning of the 20th century.
The exposition shows the exterior of the device composed of half of the original boards, modern digital technology is installed inside the device. Looking through the semicircular eyepieces, you can see the photo projected.
