The town of Třebíč can be found in the very heart of Europe, in the south-western part of Moravia, in the middle of the picturesque foothills of the hilly landscape of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. The imaginary axis of the city is determined by the Jihlava River, which flows through the entire region of Třebíč. The face of the city is always different during the year with regard to the Central European climate.

The beginnings of the town are connected with a significant Benedictine monastery founded by Moravian Přemyslid princes in 1101. Thanks to the rich history of the town, visitors can admire many valuable monuments. The most important of them, the Basilica of St. Prokopius, the Jewish Quarter and the Jewish Cemetery have been inscribed on the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List.

However, the town and its surroundings will satisfy not only lovers of history and culture, but also nature - Třebíč is located in one of the cleanest areas of the Czech Republic. The picturesque character of the local landscape and nature create suitable relaxation conditions and wide possibilities for active relaxation, especially in hiking or cycling.

The town of Třebíč is therefore a place where you can connect the exploration of historical beauties with the stay in undisturbed nature.
